The platform for the 400 series is Scholar Craft's line of stacking
chairs. These chair desks are built out of 16-gauge tubular swaged steel,
MIG-welded with continuous-tube, twin 14-gauge steel supports to provide
a stable base. The 400 series also features a 16-gauge wraparound steel
support. This series of chair desks stands at the head of the class
when it comes to affordability, strength, and lightness of weight.
- Bright, nickel-chromed frame.
- Swivel-designed, self-leveling rubber-cushioned glides in either
nylon or steel.
- Tubular frame creates structural stability, eliminating the need
for cross-braces.
- Sturdy fiberboard or solid-plastic desk arm and under-seat book
basket.
